The Green Door New Release “Dead Stock” is a Californian Acid Western
'“In the foggy sunset of the San Francisco Bay Area comes a new psychedelic sound from The Green Door. The new album Dead Stock, coming June 28th 2025, boasts a surfer on acid psychedelic Western vibe that rips down the highway like Hunter S. Thompson. Their 60s acid garage rock bleeds kaleidoscopic colors with lofi guitars layered in warm FXs with reverb vocals calling out over the vast desert plains. The sound on Dead Stock is acid garage rock surf as if Allah-las, The Black Angels and 13th Floor Elevators all raised a wild cat together and The Green Door is the wild cat.”

"Wolf In The Fold is marvelously good, original to the point of being unprecedentedly inventive. The combination of Spaghetti Western flavors merging with acid rock results in ferociously goosed up phantasmagoric cowboy rock n’ roll. The Green Door does hallucinatory country rock with style!"

Great review from Substream Magazine!!
"Wolf In The Fold, sounds straight out of the ’60s or ’70s – classic in all the right ways, melding the best elements of garage rock with Spaghetti Western vibes and just enough modern nuances to help it appeal to the current generation."

Great review from KZSU Stanford!
"I love the Green Door, an SF group with a sound best described as Morricone-core: psychey-acidy-surfy sounds in a reverby spectrum that evoke spaghetti westerns and desert madness."

James Morman at itsezbreezy.com gives a great write up!!
“Seriously psychedelic with a 60s acid rock sound, their new release reminds one of Jefferson Airplane with a Spaghetti Western atmosphere. In addition, The Green Door combines all that with a garage band style that channels the wild west.”
